Dear Lord Jesus I Need You
Dear Lord Jesus, I need you. I can't live the Christian life by myself. When I try to do that my struggle ends in defeat. I need you to take over my life and live my life through me. I believe that you died on the Cross for my sins and you rose from the dead to bring me new life. I am sorry for all my sins, please forgive me. I open the door of my life and receive you as my savior and Lord. I turn over my whole life, every detail of my life to you. Take control of my life, help me to be the kind of person you want me to be. Thank you for forgiving my sins and for giving me eternal life. Please send your Holy Spirit upon me to fill me with love for the Father and for you and to guide and direct me in everything I do and say. I ask this in your name, Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen
Prayer for Pardon and Mercy
(From Psalm 130)
Out of the depths I call to you, Lord. Lord hear my cry! May Your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. If You, Lord, mark our sins, Lord who can stand? But with You is forgiveness and so You are revered. I wait with longing for the Lord. My soul looks for the Lord.
WALK WITH ME
My Jesus, my friend, walk with me today. Hand in hand, guide me to learn and to know what is good. Arm in arm, help me to grow in my faith and in love for others. Side by side, stay by me to protect me and to show me your ways. Heart to heart, help me to pray and to be all that you want me to be. Thank You, Jesus, for the special love you have for me.
PASSION OF CHRIST
Passion of Christ, comfort me, comfort me for the day is long and weary, comfort me as I fight my way up the path of life safe to the heaven of Thy Sacred Heart. Comfort me in sorrow, in pain, in sickness. Comfort me when temptation rages round me and every hope seems lost. And when that last dread hour has sounded and my eyes are closing on this world of sin, O Passion of Christ, comfort me then, and lead me gently to Thy wounded sacred feet above. Please have mercy on my sinful soul. Amen.
THIS WAS REVEALED TO ME AFTER A PARTICULARLY DIFFICULT CONFESSION. MEDITATE ON THESE WORDS.
I am God, but a God of love! I am a Father, but a Father full of compassion and never harsh. My heart is infinitely Holy, but also infinitely wise, and knowing human frailty and infirmity, stoops to poor sinners with infinite mercy.
I love those who, after a first fall, come to Me for pardon. I love them still more when they beg for pardon for their second fall, and should this happen again, I do not say a million times, but a million, million times, I still love them and still pardon them, and I will wash in my blood their last as fully as their first sin.
Never shall I weary of repentant sinners nor cease from hoping for their return, and the greater their distress, the greater My welcome.

O my God, Remember that moment for the first time Thou didst pour Thy grace into my heart, washing me of original sin that Thou mightest receive me into the number of Thy children. Open my heart, Holy Spirit, to receive Your word and enlighten my mind to understand it. Strengthen my will, Holy Spirit, to follow wherever you lead. O Holy Spirit, soul of my soul, I adore you. Enlighten, guide, strengthen and console me. Tell me what I ought to do, and command me to do it. I promise to be submissive in everything that You ask of me and to accept all that You permit to happen to me, only show me what is Your will.
